HTC Desire 825 was launched in February 2016, and it comes with a 5.5-inch 720p display. The phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage, and a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. The HTC phones usually come with a good software with their own Sense UI but the problem with the phones and the company is that they don’t seem very strong with the software support later and thus, the software updates are not guaranteed.
The HTC Desire 825 has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and there is a 2700 mAh battery in the phone. The sensors included are accelerometer, proximity, and compass. The dimensions of the phone include 156.9 x 76.9 x 7.4 mm and it weighs 155 gm. It is a Dual SIM phone with support for 4G connectivity.
HTC Desire 825 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Marshmallow is the current latest version of Android before Nougat, and thus it is expected that the phone might get the Android Nougat 7.0 update in the near future, though the company has not given any confirmation about the same. If it is to get the update, you might see it in the first quarter or second of 2017 and we will update this article with the relevant information.
